These conditions may include acute infections (e.g., respiratory infections, urinary tract infections), minor injuries (e.g., sprains, minor cuts), or acute onset of symptoms (e.g., fever, cough, abdominal pain) that are not life-threatening but necessitate prompt medical attention. Acute Care Visits are distinct from preventive care, routine check-ups, or chronic disease management, and are typically intended to resolve or stabilize the condition within a short time-frame, generally days to weeks.
